Social networking hits the bar scene big screen

The article, Social networking hits the bar scene big screen, that I found last week is about a new way to add social networking into everyday life. It explains how bars are beginning to introduce a system that allows people to virtually talk to someone who is sitting on the other side of the bar. People at the bar can virtually talk to anyone at the bar, as long as the person incharge of the system approves what is being posted.

"The social networking part is this. You can actually put content up on the screen found in any bar today in order to make contact with the the guy or gal who is sitting next to you or who you may have noticed two bar stools away."

I found this extremely interesting because it seems as though social networking is everywhere. Face to face conversations are becoming fewer and the development of online socializing is taking over. It makes me wonder how the upcoming generations of people will socialize in 10 or 15 years.

This is really interesting! Especially because I think that the new way of communicating is through technology. I agree that people have lost face to face communication abilities. I'm curious to see if this will catch on!
